We recently ran an Adactus500 survey to consult with members around extending our vexatious behaviour policy to deal with unacceptable, unreasonable behaviour from customers towards members of Adactus staff. Members were asked to give examples of both unacceptable (i.e. threatening) and unreasonable (i.e. refusing to co-operate) behaviour to include in the policy and asked for their opinions on certain elements of the proposal. February half term in Chorley saw another successful Holiday Fun & Food event at The Buttermere Community Centre. Adactus worked in partnership with Chorley Borough Council, Chorley FC and Wigan Athletic to help deliver the 5 day event. As the week fell in line with Valentines Day, the group decided on a ‘Care & Share’ theme – making cards, learning about healthy eating, making superhero characters out of vegetables and getting active with Wigan Football Club! ‘BIG’ our Breathe Investment Grants are on the way.  We will soon be launching the next round of bidding for grants to support projects throughout 2018 across all the areas where we have homes. The Adactus Housing Group have been supporting community groups for the last 9 years with over £1m invested.  During 2017/17 we allocated £225,000 to support 147 projects. Adactus ‘BIG‘ have funded ‘You Can’, a Salford based youth club, with a £1,875 grant to support specialist workers in delivering sports, arts, crafts, games and outdoor pursuits for young people who have a disability or learning difficulties.
