Adactus is celebrating National Apprenticeships Week March 2016. Between 14 and 18 March, we will be showcasing the opportunities available for apprentices with the Group as well as celebrating the success of our programme. We have a dedicated Enterprise & Funding team that co-ordinates our internal apprenticeship opportunities, work experience placements and graduate trainee programme. More than 70 people have benefited with work experience opportunities across the Group. I work for Adactus Housing Association as a Tenancy Enforcement and Support Officer. My role is to protect victims of anti social behaviour by taking appropriate legal action. A typical day for me is non stop case work. Visiting complainants and perpetrators of anti social behaviour. Referring vulnerable people to services such as social services or the mental health team.  Mediating between feuding neighbours and meeting with the Police and local neighbourhood teams. Our Hit Squad operatives recently undertook a task to clean up an alleyway in Clayton, Manchester. The work consisted of clearing rubbish, removing moss and giving the alleyway a good brushing down. The end result was fantastic! so much so, that a private resident called to say “Thank you to the team.
