Over the past 12 months, the residents of Victoria Court have worked hard to make their gardens a lovely and comfortable place to visit.  They were recently awarded a Level 1 achievement certificate from Northwest in Bloom. The residents wanted to make the space a better place to relax and enjoy the weather thus applying to the neighbourhood fund to help them purchase an arbour where they can sit during the summer months. Age UK have been successful in securing funding from the Chorley Community Housing (CCH) Neighbourhood Fund to run a Past Times Café in the town centre. A grant of £800 was awarded to the group.  The funding was used to run the café once a week and was also used to pay for guest speakers, a trip to the imperial war museum and vintage items which included a past times bingo set and vintage toy box.
