Adactus Housing Association has provided £600 worth of food stocks to The Olive Branch. It’s the second year running that Adactus’ community grant scheme, the neighbourhood fund, has made a donation towards this worthwhile project. The food bank is supported through regular donations of food from the public and local organisations but the demand for food parcels is increasing on a yearly basis. Work continues on Adactus500′s scrutiny of DLO productivity (repairs). Adactus Housing Group has been shortlisted for the Wigan Business of the Year Awards. The honour recognises the growth of the company over the past few year and the strong financial position that Adactus is now enjoying. Residents of Clement Court in Higher Openshaw secured funding from the Adactus Housing Green Grant to add colour throughout their scheme. Clement Court residents were awarded £500 from the Green Grant to purchase an array of flowers and plants to add to their expanding oasis.
