Thanks to help from the Adactus Neighbourhood Fund, over 200 residents were able to enjoy a Half Term Family Fun Day at St Albans Church Hall in Broadheath. The Fun Day was a huge success where 135 local children enjoyed face painters and a magician’s show and were able to take part in a variety of craft sessions including fruit kebab making and cake decorating. On Wednesday, the Adactus500 scrutiny panel on Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) met at our Head Office in Leigh to continue their scrutiny of ASB. The main purpose of the interim meeting was to give scrutiny panel members the opportunity to look in detail at the interim report produced by our internal affairs team, and to challenge the findings. Residents in Hulme have been having a big tidy up thanks to Adactus Housing Association. Residents from the Aquarius Street area suggested that a skip day would be a good idea so they could have a bit of a spring clean.  So, on Friday 14th February, 2 skips were provided for the flats and the houses. The Adactus Neighbourhood Fund supported the first family fun day organised by the Tenants and Residents Association of Maclaren Drive and Makepeace Walk in Crumpsall on Monday 17th February.  The day was organised by the committee on behalf the local residents and saw those from the surrounding area come together to get to know each other. The event featured face painting, cultural food tasting, local police talking about hate crime and even a clown giving sweets to the local children. …
