Adactus Housing Association (AHA) have supported a local youth community group through its neighbourhood fund.  Wed@7  is run through Neston Parish Youth in the Community every Wednesday evening. The club caters for 10 to 15 year olds with mixed abilities, held at the Neston Community and Youth Centre, Burton Road. Adactus Housing Association (AHA) have treated residents at an extra care scheme in Worsley Mesnes to a health & well being day.  Residents of Elliot Gardens, enjoyed a day of tai chi, arm chair exercises and a range of complimentary therapies such as reiki and foot and hand massages. The event was funded by the AHA Neighbourhood Fund and delivered by Sefton O.P.E.R.A. (Older Persons Enabling Resource & Action). Social housing cheats are being offered a ‘no questions asked’ deal if they hand their keys back to their landlord before the end of February. The amnesty has been announced by Adactus Housing Group which says that from March it will use recent changes in the law to press criminal charges against people illegally subletting any of their properties. Keeley Close & Octavia Drive Residents Association along with Keeley Close Gardening Club, based in Newton Heath, have been awarded £1198.90 from the Adactus Neighbourhood Fund to help improve the garden at their retirement apartment block.  They have recently purchased two arbours, providing an area for residents to sit with a book or a brew when the summer arrives.
