Work has started on the construction of 14 new homes for rent in Adlington by Adactus Housing Association. The properties, which comprise 5 bungalows, 5 houses and 4 flats, are being built across two sites at Acresfield in Adlington. The homes are being built by Adactus Housing Association on land provided by Chorley Community Housing (CCH), who will manage the properties once they have been completed. This week sees the celebration of the 6th annual apprenticeship week.  National Apprenticeship week celebrates apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals and organisations. To mark the occasion and help support the event Andy Marshall, Director of Asset Management for the Adactus Housing Group will be out in the field today working with our trade apprentices in our homes across Manchester.  Andy will be feeding back with his progress live on this blog on Thursday 14th March 2013.

A charity that provides medical equipment and easier access to clean water for people living in the Gambia has benefitted from a cash boost of £600 thanks to staff at Adactus Housing Group. Staff at the Leigh based company raised the money by opting to pay £1 each time they took part in a monthly ‘dress down’ day.
