Spooky night of creepy capers. Coverage on this very successful halloween event held at Victoria Mill Hut in Miles Platting.  ‘Creepy Capers’ was organised by Adactus Housing in partnership with Family Action Manchester with over 40 local people attending to make halloween costumes, non-alcoholic coctails, and have a dance.

Pensioners show fancy footwork. Story reporting on a successful event organised by Adactus and Zest at the Trinity Methodist Church in Ancoats to celebrate International Day of Older Persons.  The event was open to people over the age of 55 and included various activities such as pampering sessions, line dancing, mosaic making and healthy eating.

Yummy Occasion. Coverage of the Ancoats and Miles Platting ‘family food and fun’ roadshow organised by Adactus as part of the East Manchester Food and Drink Fringe Festival.  The roadshow educated local people on healthy eating, growing their own produce and composting.  Cookery classes also took place, and overall the day proved a great success.
