Adactus Housing Association Reception Checks May 2008

North Office, Elizabeth Street, Openshaw, Manchester

The inspectors thought that the office was accessible with the option of the stairs or the lift. It was reported that the office was clean and well maintained and leaflets that were clear and easy to understand were available.

The following key recommendations were made:-

A sign to be in place saying that childrens toys are available on request
This sign has been put in place

Maintenance staff to look at the ladies toilet door as it is hard to open
This door has been repaired

Train reception staff on the housekeeping of the building i.e disabled toilets 
This is part of a training plan that all new staff receive
